For New Patients...

Hello and welcome to Wellness Concepts of Florida. We are happy you are making the decision to improve your quality of life. Here is a little of what to expect when you arrive at our office. The New Patient office visit will take approximately one hour. Please prepare for the visit and dress comfortably. If you have to arrive in professional dress, you may want change at our facility, or we can provide gym attire. If you plan on changing dress, please allow appropriate time. We pride ourselves on punctuality, so please be on time.

All paperwork must be completed in our office. You may do this any day prior to your appointment. If you choose, you may wait until the day of your scheduled appointment, but please arrive 30 minutes early to complete the new patient forms and insure your full hour with the doctor.

What do I need to bring?

We will need a copy of your driver’s license and/or insurance card (if applicable).

All prior X-ray, MRI, CT reports and disks and any other pertinent studies or information.

What can I expect on my first visit?

One of our doctors will start with a comprehensive overview of your health concerns, making sure to discuss all related criteria. Orthopedic and Neurological exams will be performed followed by a functional exam to assess muscle imbalances and joint dysfunction. X-ray will be utilized at the doctor’s discretion to rule out any underlying pathology or Dis-Ease. If X-rays are taken, the doctor will go over them thoroughly with you. We believe knowledge is power and want to be sure you understand the doctor's findings.

Will I receive treatment on my first visit?

Our doctors try to provide treatment on the first day of service. Each case is different with its own set of circumstances. The patient diagnosis will determine how much can be accomplished in the initial one hour office visit.
